Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed about the substantial range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really click here is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The services issue produced for intervention experiences a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
